AI adoption across your organisation
Turn AI experiments into everyday practice
Build a practical approach to AI adoption with clear use cases, team onboarding, ownership and measures that matter to your business.
When a tool rollout has not changed the work
You may have paid for AI access, held a demonstration or encouraged staff to experiment. Yet usage is uneven, managers cannot see the value and nobody is sure which information is safe to use.
This engagement is for leaders, operations managers and internal champions who need a manageable way to introduce AI across teams, with responsibility for the change clearly assigned.
Start with a workflow people can evaluate
Illustrative starting points include:
- Customer enquiries: prepare a draft using approved information, with a staff member responsible for the final reply.
- Project administration: draft a weekly update from agreed source material and compare it with the current process.
- Staff onboarding: help new starters find approved guidance, with a named owner keeping the underlying content current.
- Management reporting: prepare a narrative from checked figures, with the manager verifying the explanation.
These illustrative examples depend on data quality, access and tool capability. We assess their suitability with your team.
How ATOM helps
We connect the use case with the people, process and systems around it. An agreed scope can include:
- reviewing current AI usage, team needs and access;
- setting practical rules for approved tools, sensitive information and human review;
- onboarding a pilot group with role-specific training;
- assigning process owners, internal champions and escalation paths; and
- reviewing feedback, quality and effort before a wider rollout.
Where a workflow needs integration or specialist implementation, we define that work separately. Technology partner support remains available alongside adoption work.
Begin with an adoption review and focused pilot plan
Use the discovery call to describe what has already been tried and where progress has stalled. A first engagement can review one team or workflow, identify the barriers and produce a pilot plan with owners, safeguards and success measures. Training, implementation and ongoing support are scoped against that plan.
For platform-specific onboarding, see AI for Microsoft 365 or AI for Google Workspace.
Experience with the work around the technology
ATOM’s existing work spans operational leadership, process improvement, systems integration and AI delivery. This provides a practical foundation for decisions about ownership, governance and rollout. Explore our experience and discuss which parts are relevant to your organisation.
Useful to know
Frequently asked questions
How is adoption different from training?
Training builds skills. Adoption also addresses which tasks should change, who owns the process, what tools are approved and how the team gets support after the first session.
Do we need to roll AI out to everyone?
No. A small group and one well-defined workflow can provide a useful starting point. Wider rollout depends on the findings and your priorities.
Can you work with our IT provider?
Yes. We can agree responsibilities with your internal team and existing providers, including access, licensing, security settings and support.
How do we know whether it is working?
Agree a baseline and review measures before the pilot. These might include time spent on a task, rework, output quality and staff confidence. Usage alone does not establish business value.
A practical next step
Let’s discuss the work you want to improve.
